•Natural Latex Physio Soft Soother is made of natural latex rubber, a material that is soft, elastic and resistant.
This soother tends to be a smell, which is normal due it is made by natural latex but it’s not harmful for baby.
***How to avoid the strong rubber smell? ***
:Firstly, rinse it under running water and scrub it gently with hands or can be cleaned with general bottle cleaners then leave it on a rack or dry it by using cotton cloth. After that, rinse it with boiled water (120°C) for 5 minutes.
(Please note that the heat-resistance of the pacifier is 120 degrees, to avoid contact with the bottom or side of the pot with higher temperature, and to avoid deformation caused by excessive temperature).
:After rinsing it with boiled water, it is normal to have a rubbery smell after boiling. That is the smell of natural rubber after heating. Chicco's pacifiers have passed European food-grade inspections, please feel free to use them!
